Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service asked Senseia to help create increased psychological safety, higher levels of innovation and curiosity and improvements in systems, operations and performance. Within a year, psychological safety scores rose by 42 percent across all four dimensions, and the improvement held 12 months after the programme ended. Sickness absence fell by a third and intention to quit fell by more than half, with 81 percent of participants saying they would recommend the programme. The work with Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service was later shared with fire chiefs across the UK at the National Fire Chiefs Council Members Spring Conference.
